Comores - November 2000

The holiday centered around the Le Galawa Hotel. There are very few sandy beaches on the island and most of the coastline is volcanic rock. The arrangements were geared to tourists and each day there was a theme.

Being the rebels that we are we broke away and saw bits on our own - against the advive of the hotel who suggested that only their facilities should be used. Much like the honest innkeeper in Les Miserables.
